Award winning Salute Santé! Grapeseed Oil is ZERO WASTE, PLANT-BASED, CLEAN & GREEN!™
Made from the Best Seeds on Earth!™
Verified Non-GMO by the Non GMO Project and certified GREEN by Green America.
Healthy & Nutritious! It has almost 50% less saturated fat and 10x more essential linoleic acid than olive oil. It is also an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin E. Studies have shown that grapeseed oil may raise HDL ("good" cholesterol) levels and lower LDL ("bad" cholesterol) and triglyceride levels, which may reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Our oil contains no trans fats and is BPA-free.
Truly The Chef’s Choice™ – its high smoke point (485˚ F) makes it ideal for sautéing, frying and baking without smoking, splattering or burning. The excellent emulsification properties make it ideal for whipping mayonnaise and creamy dressings that will not separate even when chilled. It’s ideal for marinades and salad dressings that will not cloud when chilled.
Salute Santé! pioneered the first cold-pressed grapeseed oil. It took over 15 years to create presses strong enough (over 8000 lb. of pressure) to squeeze these tiny hard seeds to make a delicious and heart-healthy grapeseed oil. The original cold-pressing method only yielded a small amount of oil, which raised production costs and made the final product rather costly. Salute Santé has now overcome this problem with a new system that extracts the oil remaining from the cake after the first pressing to maximize the yield at the lowest cost. This system also decreases the amount of waste produced in processing the grapes.
This grapeseed oil is then gently refined to produce a delicious, light nutty taste and brilliant light color to meet the best quality and the best flavor. Salute Santé! is proud to be "clean and green," which is why the grapeseed oil is then filled right at the plant into re-designed 5-liter PET bottles, then packed into 100% post-consumer boxes with three bottles per case. These new bottles lessen packaging weight and cut costs by almost 50%, resulting in huge reductions in carbon footprint.
