Japanese Style Pork Piccata

Japanese Style Pork Piccata

When I get tired of an ordinary preparation by stir frying sliced pork meat, pork piccata is my easy but still “something different” menu. Easy preparation and both kids and grownups will enjoy them!

   

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 lb Thinly Sliced Pork (tenderloin is preferred but I used pork belly)

2 Medium Eggs

2 tbsp Parsley, finely chopped

1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp Olive oil, for cooking

Pinch of Garlic Salt or regular salt

Pinch of black pepper

1/2 cup flour

PonzuSauce (lime), Ketchup, Soy Sauce for dipping

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

1. Fold 4-5 sliced pork into a piece

2. Lightly season the pork with garlic salt (or regular salt) and black pepper.

3. Beat eggs; mix with chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese

4. Heat Olive oil in a large pan over medium heat

5. Dredge the seasoned pork in flour and remove excess flour, then dip into egg mixture

6. Cook both sides for about 15 minutes; turn them over a few times

7. Serve with PonzuSauce, Ketchup, or Soy Sauce for dipping (kids love ketchup, I prefer Ponzu or Soy sauce)
